WHAT’S MONEY HEIST: KOREA - JOINT ECONOMIC AREA ABOUT?
The action begins when we find Tokyo detailing her miserable story. She lived in North Korea and was a huge fan of BTS. The motivation to be a part of the BTS ARMY and live with freedom was all she wished for. Soon, Tokyo planned to escape from the shackles of North Korea and entered South Korea. Here, she perceived how devastatingly North Koreans lived. At first, she had to save her life and so started working. During the day, Tokyo worked as a waitress and at night she performed at a café. One night she was being molested and in defense killed the man. From then on, Tokyo did odd jobs and killed all those people who tried to suppress North Koreans. Being wanted by police and trapped, Tokyo was about to shoot herself but Professor saved her.
Now, let’s shed some light on the character of Professor! Apparently, he is Park Sun-ho and runs a café named “Bella Ciao.” He seems to be such a simple man; the one who sympathizes with the world. However, he has a greater mission! Behind the scenes, Professor has made a team consisting of Tokyo, Helsinki, Oslo, Rio, Denver, Moscow, Berlin, and Nairobi. His plan is to hit the main place in North and South Korea – the Mint. As the year is noted to be 2025, North and South Korea are planning to unite their power and forces. For this, they must first have an economic pact. In a secured area, the two big nations form the Joint Economic Area.
In the JEA, North and South Korea are printing money that would be used in both countries. It is a new currency and only Mint is printing it. Professor forms a fool-proof plan in which all members of the heist would captivate people in the Mint. The day of action is critical as Anne Kim, the daughter of the American ambassador would be there. Once the team would take over the Mint, they would start printing money and fill themselves with 7 billion Won. On the other hand, Moscow is busy digging a tunnel which would be a way out for them. As plan B, Professor has asked the team to busy the captivated people to dig a tunnel as well.
The team of the heist is one step close to being instigated by the cops. Things might slip out of hand as Professor and his relationship with Seon Woojin might ruin everything. The series has ended on a cliffhanger and the remaining 6 episodes can be quite eye-opening.

The Professor
The Professor needs to be on top of the list because we fairly know him. We saw that he planned the heist, found members, trained them, etc. However, what idea do we have about the things he did prior? His life wasn’t grief-stricken like that of others. Professor had the choice of living as a Professor of economics at the university. Why didn’t he do so? Is he only flaunting to be in love with Woojin or it’s real? No matter what the case is, Professor is an incredible character!
Tokyo
How much do you know about Money Heist: Korea’s character Tokyo? She is a gem but no one considered her precious. Because of all the pain she had to bear, the innocent girl turned into a criminal. But still, Tokyo is loyal to her work and Professor. She is eager to set her life once again with this heist. She is hot-tempered but definitely a diligent and brave soul.
Denver
Denver is the son of Moscow but is really different from his father. He is a computer expert and hacking runs in his veins. While a father can cut through a mountain, the son can breach the greatest internet wall. With his help, Professor depicts it as if everything is fine. All cameras show fake footage thanks to Denver and his hard work. This boy wishes to live a life of freedom and wealth.
Nairobi
Nairobi is a con and can portray to be whoever she wants. There is no way anyone can even have a hint of her intentions. Because of her spotless work, Professor took her into this team. The best part is Nairobi loves challenges and this one is going to be the best one of her life. Her mission is to move in and depict that everything is normal.
