You must have a thousand questions in mind like, how did this place become one specified for ghosts? How can Seo Ki Joo see ghosts? Why do ghosts even need pictures? and etc. So, this all began years ago when one of Seo Ki Joo’s ancestors did something very unusual. One of his great-great-great-grandfathers wanted to save his son from dying as he was about to die from sickness. To save the son, he thought to bring the Grim Reaper and try to make up some kind of contract so that his son lives. In order to get his plan into action, the great-great-great-grandfather enters the Netherworld and steals a camera from there. What do you think would have happened next?

The Grim Reaper appears in front of him and asks for his camera. Of course, the man puts forward his deal and the Grim Reapers agree, but the deal brings a curse and a job while saving the life of his son. One, he and his generation would have to keep the camera and click the pictures of ghosts who are unable to move toward their afterlife. This would only happen when a picture of them is clicked, and they must be satisfied with it as well. Second, every man in his generation would only live till he reached thirty-five years of age and would die after that.

One after another, all men of the family have to fulfill their duties in this studio and Seo Ki Joo is the seventh in his family to own the camera and the studio. He also knows that he has the time of thirty-five years to live.

HOW DO SEO KI JOO AND HAN BOM MEET?

In order to satisfy the ghosts and click their picture, Seo Ki has to go through different pains in each case. In one of them, Seo Ki needed a lawyer and destiny helped him meet Han Bom. She gives all her efforts to save the woman who was falsely accused of killing her husband. As the case is solved, Seo Ki feels that he needs Han Bom and this is how the two get along in The Midnight Studio.
