STORY OF EACH BTS MEMBER IN YOUTH SERIES

There are seven boys in the story and their stories are woven together in school. Once they all passed, the realities of life begin to unveil for each of them.

Seo Ji Hoon – Kim Seok Jin

Kim Seok-Jin (Jin in BTS) is portrayed as a son of a National Assembly member. Obviously, having a powerful father behind the back shapes the personality in a very different way. Jin is pictured as a boy who owns almost everything in the world, is poised, a pure gentleman, and pride of his father. But, if we look into his eyes, we all can clearly see the obscene emptiness. As Jin continues his studies in college, he explores life and happiness that normal boys and girls of his age experience but he could never. Why? Because being a politician’s son, Jin always has to be more careful of people and paparazzi.

Ro Jong Hyun – Min Yoon Gi

Childhood years are essential for a stable adulthood for any human. Every child has a right to have the best childhood years possible but poor Yoon Gi couldn’t have those. During the early years, his mother died and his house was set on fire. People blame the innocent and naïve Yoon Gi although he had nothing to do with this. Obviously, people were biased towards him which culminated in his isolation. Having no family or friends (except for one loyal pal), Yoon Gi had constructed an invisible shield around him. It’s heartbreaking to watch him like this.

Ahn Ji Ho – Jung Ho Seok

Usually, fun places carry loving memories for people but in Ho Seok’s (J-Hope) case, the scenario is pretty different. Actually, he was once stuck in an amusement park for some hours (we can’t spoil it all!). The rest is history but not for Jo Seok because somewhere in his heart, fear exists. The boy is unable to relish many moments of his life because of this very incident. However, Ho Seok is very capable when it comes to hiding his real emotions and not letting them be expressed on his face.

Seo Young Joo – Kim Nam Joon

Who in the world does not know Nam Joon or shall we say RM! In YOUTH series, his character has been portrayed as a boy who lives a very grounded life. Not in terms of socializing but because his family hardly meets the ends. Due to this, Nam Joon never really got the chance to enjoy the distinct flavors of life. From the beginning, Nam Joon had to work so his family could survive. Even at such young age, Nam Joon knew that the path to success can be stepped on through the ladder of education. It is clear that the boy has a high intellect and is able to score high even though has a million responsibilities on his shoulders. Like most guys, he is not into love, romance, or other joys; Nam Joon is an adult in the body of a teen boy.

Kim Yoon Woo – Park Ji Min

Ji Min’s character, like in real life has a sweet and appealing smile. It feels as if the world brightens up immediately when he smiles. But, behind his smile lie hundreds of questions. Ji Min is unable to remember anything from his past. According to his parents, it’s all because of an accident that took place years ago. But, the reminiscent is still left in his memories which darkens his soul.

Jung Woo Jin – Kim Tae Hyung

Tae Hyung lived an ideal childhood where his parents loved him more than anything. However, Kim Tae always had a special bond with his father. Nevertheless, things changed and went out of control when Tae Hyung’s mother leaves them. This was devastating for the family especially, for his father. In some months, Tae Hyung began to live with a man who was more of an alcoholic than a father. The boy still has hopes in him!

Jeon Jin Seo – Jeon Jung Kook

Jung Kook is a teenager who has no concern about what goes around while his family is completely contrary. They live with all the insecurities people can live with. But, Jung Kook never listens and is always busy doing the nonsensical activities he cherishes with his heart. He looks so damn cute!

The first trailer is obviously connected with the Korean Expo in Paris and was launched there. A large budgeted project like this one needs limelight around the world. About the releasing platform/s, the speculations are still made.
