DETAILS OF GYEONGSEONG CREATURE PART 1
Gyeongseong Creature Part 1 was vital as we all got to know the roots of the story and everything that was being built into it. We meet Jang Tae-sang, the owner of a pawn shop who can provide you with anything you want from gold to all the forbidden items. The connections he has in the Gyeongseong are beyond anyone’s mind. If you want anything or anyone, just reach Tae Sang! However, the ones who came to Tae Sang were quite the opposite of the ones he usually welcomed (we’re not going to spoil everything!).
There is a Colonel who wants to find his missing wife but due to the power of Japanese in the area, he is unable to do so. Hence, he threatens Tae Sang to do so and if he is unable to do that then he’d kill him. In order to save his life from the Colonel, Tae Sang begins to work on it and fortunately meets Yoon Chae Ok and her father who are known for their skills as todugun (missing people finders). With this trio working to locate the Colonel’s wife, we find out that Chae Ok is also in Gyeongseong for her own reasons. She had lost her mother when she was just a kid and since then, Chae Ok has been searching for and because of this, she took up this profession. The tracks tell that her mother is somewhere in Gyeongseong. All the tracks of the Colonel’s wife lead to one of the strangest and most high-profile places in the town – Ongseong Hospital. No one goes in or out without permission which are only a few in total.

Somehow, the three of our main protagonists make their way into the Ongseong Hospital where they find humans being used as lab rats. They are being biologically tested and turned into monsters. In the very end, we get to know that the most dangerous of the monsters is Chae Ok’s mother. The dent that has been made can’t be turned back and all of them try to run. But, you know, to make things more dramatic, some sacrifices are needed and that is done by Tae Sang. He distracts the monsters for the other two to run out. Hence, this turns out to be the worst cliffhanger in the whole world as we don’t know what happens to him!

IT ALL CONTINUES IN PART 2
In the sequel to the Gyeongseong Creature tale, Tae-sang and Chae-ok plot their getaway. They are waiting on Beom-o and cash when Yukiko and her entourage show up out of the blue. Beom-o disputes Yukiko’s claim that she betrayed them, saying it is untrue. When Chae-ok and Tae-sang battle Yukiko’s group, Chae-ok sustains serious injuries. Things appear bad, and they are surrounded. However, a weird creature then emerges and defeats the evildoers. After Chae-ok and Tae-sang escape, Chae-ok’s mother turns into a monster that is uncontrollable.
As Tae-sang and Chae-ok attempt to escape their monster mother, the tension builds to a breaking point. Tragically, Tae-sang is attacked by Chae-ok’s mother, and Chae-ok gives her life to save him. She begs her mother to stop, declaring her love for Tae-sang. The monster leaves, regretting its actions, realizing that Tae-sang is very upset. The events that follow all of the fighting alter the plot. Kato is discovered in Onseong cradling the deceased Akiko. In addition to having a new baby, they are experiencing an oddity. The infant now contains the monster known as the najin. Now carrying on the Gyeongseong Creature’s legacy, the baby has bright green eyes akin to a monster. The story has taken an odd and enigmatic turn.

OUR VERDICT…
Gyeongseong Creature Part 1 is loaded with suspense and thrill and fans were really outrageous as the ending was a cliffhanger. We all wanted to know what happens next but the way out was only the second part of Gyeongseong Creature. After watching the ending, some of the viewers were satisfied while others claimed that season two of Gyeongseong Creature wasn’t worth it. Everyone wanted to see Jang Tae Sang more, in a heroic form and save the day as we all had in mind. Though he was the hero, but the monsters he was facing weren’t portrayed as mighty enough as there is in most of the Hollywood movies. To put it in words exactly, Gyeongseong Creature Part 2 wasn’t glorified enough!
