Kingdom is a worthy and exciting Kdrama that takes place in a fictional world inspired by Korea's Joseon era. Ashin has been pretty much a veiled and mysterious character in the story. With her amazing looks and determination, all brushed on her face, she launched herself as the main character. It was obviously very devastating to find out that Ashin is one of the primary antagonists. The reason remains hidden for so long. Nonetheless, the reason behind the act is vengeance. Ashin never received the justice that was her right. Whatever happened with her and the village wasn’t anything near to what they all deserved. Of course, when you aren’t given anything then you have to employ the crooked ways eventually.
