VIXX GROUP

The VIXX boy band was formed in 2012 through a show named "MyDOL." Under the sponsor company Jellyfish Entertainment, six idols were chosen. The names included Leo, Ravi, N, Hyuk, Ken, and Hongbin. The show was definitely a success and so these boys rose to fame robustly. VIXX basically stands for "voice, visual, value in Excelsis.” The first song ever of VIXX was "Super Hero." Back then, K-pop was very new to this world and no one recognized its worth and vitality. We must say that the choreography of "Super Hero” is superb and so is the execution of every step.

Very soon the world was obsessed with VIXX and they relished their first world tour very soon. They had their most successful tour concerts in America, Europe, Japan, and Italy. Many of the VIXX songs were ranked high on Billboard even during 2014.

WHAT’S DIFFERENT IN VIXX?

Good question! There are so many bands but why is still the craze of VIXX still alive? The credit goes to innovation and novel concepts. Almost all songs of VIXX cover a new theme, idea, and relativity. In their videos, we find cyborgs, Jekyll and Hyde, voodoo practitioners, voodoo doll-esque puppets, etc. Everything is unique in terms of choreography and style. Somewhere and somehow, we get to have a different kind of hit every time. Some people think that VIXX creates songs that are quite depressive and slow in nature. Look, we all have made K pop synonymous with fast and rock beats. Although, some variations are necessary and you cannot kick out slow rhythms from K pop just because you don’t like them.

HAS VIXX DISBANDED?

No No, this is just a rumor! We understand where you might have heard this! The sextet of VIXX has been left as just a trio as all others have left the group and disbanded themselves for a number of reasons. No heart feelings, the band hasn’t given up on its fans and skills. We’ll soon see a revival of the members. It is a theory that VIXX couldn’t make much in terms of fanship because all band members are Korean. Usually, the tactic of members belonging to different parts of the world are opted so the fandom increases quickly and around the globe. Well, this is not completely true. Most things depend on luck, talent, and skills. The thing that we feel close to reality is Jellyfish Entertainment. It was all new for the company and they never launched a pop band before so some of the loopholes were due to their fresh start.

WHAT ARE VIXX FANS CALLED?

VIXX is a band that believes in enlightening the fans. Hence the people who love VIXX are called “ST?RLIGHT.” Not only are they a symbol of hope but also turn into a beautiful sight when united.

ARE SONGS AND ALBUMS OF VIXX POPULAR?

Of course, the albums and songs of VIXX are very popular. In terms of the albums, we do love the trilogy shared by them in 2016. Each album is named after a Greek god and represents power and fame. “Dynamite,” “Fantasy,” and “The Closer” are definitely the best albums for us and most ST?RLIGHTs. Error is blended with science and fun. The video has been superbly created and managed. The enjoyment and beats can be felt in the video just as we begin to watch. Most importantly, the energy is insane.

Dynamite just like its name is a blast and it has elevated the level of VIXX in many ways. The excitement of the genre is visible and the vocals of the sextet make every moment worth it.

Who would like to listen to anything else if On & On can be an attention gainer? Ears don’t want this song to stop because it is more like a ride into another world than just a song.

MEMBERS OF VIXX

N

N’s real name is Cha Hak Yeon and he only uses the stage name for his performances. Throughout his life, N received many nicknames but he likes the recent one more than others. For the VIXX band, N is the leader, main dancer, lead vocalist, and center. Apart from music, N is an incredible actor and this is why he has been able to be a part of several K dramas. We have to say that his motherly nature helps N to adjust everywhere.

Ravi

Ravi is actually Kim Won Shik and the main rapper, lead dancer, and vocalist. Do you know what his family calls him? Lucky Boy! He definitely is lucky. Everyone close to this guy claim that Ravi is extremely gentle and polite to everyone. His innocence is really renowned. Other than singing, Ravi also has some songwriting skills but doesn’t show off much.

Hyuk

Han Sang Hyuk is the main dancer, vocalist, and maknae in VIXX. He is confident and goal-oriented. Hyuk is a decent man who always has his dreams in mind and acts accordingly. This intelligence has developed in our singer through the love of books. Hyuk’s hobby of reading has really brought knowledge and wisdom to him.
