First, marinate your thin beef slices with sesame oil, vegetable oil, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, black pepper, grated pear, and salt. Leave for as much time as possible. Then thinly slice an onion, carrots, spring onions, and chives. Now, you have options! Grill, pan-cook, or even put the beef in a pressure cooker. That’s it! Kongnamul Guk or Korean bean sprout soup is ideal for health and is quite delicious. One bowl of this soup would satisfy your tummy and taste bud both. So let’s begin preparing it!

For this soup, you need bean sprouts, chicken stock/broth, garlic, sesame oil, salt, red pepper powder, and a pan of course! First, add oil to a pan and add minced garlic to saute, and then add soy sauce to it. Add broth and bean sprouts to it and bring it to boil. Let it cook on low flame and reduce in quantity. Add salt, red pepper powder, and black pepper, and garnish with scallions after turning off the flame. There, the hot bowls of soups are ready to be served. Here’s a tip, you can add kimchi and its juice while cooking to add a tangy flavor.

Haemul bap is a fulfilling dish that can treat you and your special guest very delightfully. In order to prepare it you need short grain rice and let them soak. Once done, drain the water and let them cook in a pan, set aside. Pick the veggies like peas, carrots, onions, mushrooms, and seafood like shrimp, prawns, etc (whatever you like!). Now, in a new pan, add some oil and vegetables, and seafood. Cook it uncovered and toss for about 3-4 minutes then cover and cook until done. Now, put rice in a bowl and put a good amount of cooked veggies and seafood on it.

You are doubting that this dish isn’t halal as it has octopus! Well, who said you need to add octopus to it? When you have so many options like chicken, shrimps, prawns, and even red meat (under-cut part) then why be sad?

Start the preparation by mixing hot pepper flakes, soy sauce, sugar, potato starch, rice syrup, and ground black pepper in a bowl. In sesame/vegetable oil add garlic, ginger, green chili pepper, onion, and green onion and saute until translucent. Then, add whatever meat you have chosen and the sauce prepared earlier.
