BIGBANG is a popular south Korean all-boys band managed by YG management. The group has four members namely, G-Dragon, T.O.P, Taeyang, and Daesung. Popularly known for their musical experimentation and stage persona, the band was formed and emerged in the years 2000-2006. Two of the members: G-Dragon and Taeyang first got the training under YG entertainment. Soon after the other members joined and they had their proper official debut in 2006 (nostalgic, right!). The performance got them noticed and soon they released their single “BIGBANG”.

Bagging the award of “New artist of the month” the group made their first public display, The Real (Concert), at the Olympic Gymnastics Arena. The group has made unconventional music throughout its musical journey. They started with Hip Hop but experimented all along with multiple singles. Included in the Forbes Celebrity 100 list (2016), the members have also been awarded as the most influential musicians in the world (2017). Quite interesting right? 2014-2015 had been a remarkable breakthrough for the band, releasing three hit singles back to back their popularity made them gain five spots in the top ten on Billboard K-pop's Hot 100. They have been the talk of many prestigious platforms such as Time magazine and Grammy Awards. During 2017-2021, one of the band members, T.O.P had to go for his military training. While the other members continued producing remarkable music, promotions, and tours.

However, soon after all the members announced their enlistment for the training. The popular song, “Flower Road” was released to bid farewell to their fans, which had made records of their own. The band in 2022 released a single, “Still life” which has made headlines and of course smashed all the previous records.
